Requesting Books Owned by Trinity
- Follow the steps to take before requesting an item.
- Go to your local library first - it should result in cheaper, faster delivery and the library assumes responsibility for lost or damaged items.
- Open TrinCat
- Search for the book you are looking for (can request up to 10 per week).
- Click on
- Login using your Trinity ID # and Last Name.
- Select "Distance Ed Request Form."
- Type in your Trinity ID one more time and click "Submit Request"
- The book will be mailed to the address in your Library Patron Record*. (To check the address listed go to My Account.)
OR just email jsander@tiu.edu with the title of the book(s) and call number(s).
*You will need to pay for postage BOTH DIRECTIONS. Your patron account will be billed for outgoing postage. You will be held responsible for the cost of any book that you ship that is lost in the mail by the post office - we recommend you purchase insurance for the package.
Articles in Databases and Journals Owned by Trinity
- Check to see if the journal is available online or in print in Rolfing library. If it is not available through Rolfing, see below for further instructions.
- If it is online, use your Groupwise username and password to access it.
- To request journal or magazine articles from Rolfing print collection, click here.
- Fill in the required fields and submit.
- All articles will be emailed to your Trinity GroupWise email account*, NO EXCEPTIONS. If you have another email account that you use, see the instructions for setting up a rule to forward all emails from your Trinity account to another email account.**
*You will need Adobe® Reader® Reader in order to view the article.
**The cost of this service is $1.00 per article.
