Rolfing Library Introduces ILLiad
Mark your calendars, because as of July 9, 2012, the Rolfing Library will be using ILLiad, the InterLibrary Loan Internet Accesible Database.
With ILLiad, interlibrary loan is fast, easy to use, and easy to track.
Simply create an ILLiad account, place your requests, and monitor the status of your requests from the convenience of your own home. Requests can be placed through many of Rolfing’s databases, or if you know the citation information for the item you are looking for you can fill out a new request through your ILLiad account.
With ILLiad’s new article delivery system Odyssey, it is entirely possible to receive an article the same day that you requested it! This is not the case with every request; requests normally take 4-5 business days to process. Articles will be sent electronically to your ILLiad account.
Other things you can do with your ILLiad account:
· Keep track of your requests as they are processed by Rolfing & the lending library
· Keep track of due dates and your loan history
· Renew items online
· Receive an email the second a book is available for you—you’ll pick up your books at the circulation desk
